A whole "nutha" continent!!!

Do you like my heading?? It's good init! lol... I'm on a whole nutha continent!! Not in Europe, not in Jamaica... I'm in CANADA!!! That is WILD!! I am laying in my hotel bed (which is extremely comfortable by the way) and I cannot believe I'm here. Canada wasn't really on my list to fly out too but I am glad I am here. The best part about this is I'm here for work!! My workplace booked my flight, a nice hotel and I didn't have to pay for thing... Now this might seem like a minor to some of you but this is just another trip that is on my list for the year 2024. 4 trips in one year and I still have Portugal to go in October... Imagine if work flies me out somewhere else again, there was talk about Bulgaria lol

Have you heard when people say something like... "98, now that was a good year!" I've never said that before so I couldn't really understand it but my sister said to me the other day... you could say that about this year... and I thought about it, I really could say that... so many blessings have come my way this year and they're still coming so I cannot wait to see what else is in store for the next 5 months. I'll be saying... "2024 was a very good year!"

So yeah... I flew out on Wednesday to help with a project and it made so much sense coming out here, I get to meet more people that work for the company... I get to interact and see how the Canadians live and experience their culture... It's been a good trip so far and I still have 5 days left... that's a good amount of time init! Most of it will be spent with me in the office because this project is quite big and my input is needed. My manager recognizes us (me and my colleague) and he's grateful for us... I can tell. Personally this is the type of work that I've been looking forward to doing for the longest time, not just working on tickets but being involved in some project work too and I think the longer I work for Legend, the more I can be involved with... so I'm not going anywhere for now. Watch when 3 years hit and Gav is still working for Legend and HAPPY!!! Everything happens for a reason... that is true, we're supposed to go through certain situations so we can then see what is next for us. At the time, we might not be able to see but we have to trust it. Now I know this, it's something I will hold on to and it's something I will continue to show my people as they go through their own things. Canada feels like the US, I've never been to the US but I watch TV and being here feels like I'm there... does that make sense? It's a multi-cultural place and it's the people are really nice and friendly, I don't feel out of place, even when I open my mouth to speak and they hear the English accent... they're not shocked about it "OMG are you from London" none of that... they just speak to you like any other normal person... yeah Canada... this is a good place to visit.
